Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare apple filling
In a bowl, toss apples with brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, vanilla, and caramel sauce. Spread evenly in a 9×9-inch square baking dish (clear glass works beautifully).
3. Make cobbler batter
In another bowl, whisk flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
4. Assemble
Pour batter evenly over apples. Do not stir.
5. Bake
Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until golden on top and bubbly around the edges.
6. Cool & serve
Let rest 10 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and extra caramel drizzle.
Mixed Berry Cobbler
Ingredients
Berry Filling
4 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries — fresh or frozen)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cobbler Topping
1 cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup sugar
1½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ cup milk
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract

Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream

In a bowl, toss berries with sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and vanilla. Spread evenly in a 9×9-inch square baking dish (glass or ceramic).
3. Make topping
In another bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
4. Assemble
Pour batter evenly over the berries. Do not stir.
5. Bake
Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling around the edges.
6. Cool & serve
