1 bag (20–25 oz) cheese tortellini
1 lb Italian sausage or ground beef
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
3–4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Bring a pot of salted water to a simmer. Boil the tortellini until just tender, then drain and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage until fully cooked. Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic, cooking until soft and fragrant. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
